For me, it is important to give individual learners a worksheet in the end of the class that includes some questions related to the new language to check their understanding and their language level. "Students monitor their progress over time and their teachers identify the next steps needed to improve" (Hargreaves, 2005).

Having applied individual formative assessments as reflection of the student performance gives me the chance to reflect on their learning and improvement. Most importantly, I have learned that I must give individual focus for the students to know their level of learning and how to improve some students through providing extra help to support them to acquire the target language as their peers do. I have significantly developed the awareness about the important of check the students' understanding in every single lesson to chick the learning process and the students' progress.
